Bicol

Exploring Philippines is one hell of a challenge. With the number of islands present, it's difficult to imagine how long it will take you to visit each one of them.

Philippines is blessed with beautiful presents from nature. I constantly hope that we learn how to appreciate every good thing our country is filled with. Then, reality will finally slap us and we will stand by ourselves to develop our country rather than worshipping what other countries have.

From April 16 to April 19, we ventured through the lands and waters of Bicol province. It is an eight to twelve hour drive from Manila.

APRIL 16, WEDNESDAY
Wow Legazpi!!!
We visited Cagsawa Ruins and experienced a magnificent view of Mount Mayon.

Movies

I’ve been watching numerous films of very different genres. And so far, the things I’ve been interested in (in relation to films) are getting more peculiar as ever.

I think I like to see the world as a craft of someone else’s thoughts or imaginations. I am concentrating on the part of the world which is indescribably intricate. I yearn for some liberation. Not all about sex or other erotic actions, I yearn for something that reveals the reality. Something that will make me think twice whether I’m living the life I wanted. Something that will inspire me to write more religiously and more fervently. Something that will transform how I perceive things and how I interact with people. Something that will make me want to revolt. Something that will leave me in tears for years.

Visiting the land of the morning calm

It was our first time to be in a country outside the region of Southeast Asia. We were lucky enough to stay in South Korea for a week and two days. There is a time difference of 1 hour from our homeland's (Philippines) time wherein Korea is the one ahead.

MAY 23, FRIDAY

Cebu Pacific was our airline of choice.

It was a five hour flight to Incheon Airport, South Korea. We had our temporarily last Filipino food on the plane. We ate Beef Caldereta for dinner.

As we arrived in Incheon Airport, we immediately checked for their free WiFi connection. South Korea is known for their rapid internet service.

The day I decided to start a blog

/ 6.20.2014 /
I'm Christine Maulion and I'm trying to be serious about something I'm passionate about. I've been a fan of words since the day I recognized the beauty of books. My favorite frustration is writing, I let myself be lost in the world of words. Hopefully, this blog ignites the unnoticed fire within me.
