Bicol

Exploring Philippines is one hell of a challenge. With the number of islands present, it's difficult to imagine how long it will take you to visit each one of them.

Philippines is blessed with beautiful presents from nature. I constantly hope that we learn how to appreciate every good thing our country is filled with. Then, reality will finally slap us and we will stand by ourselves to develop our country rather than worshipping what other countries have.

From April 16 to April 19, we ventured through the lands and waters of Bicol province. It is an eight to twelve hour drive from Manila.

APRIL 16, WEDNESDAY
Wow Legazpi!!!
We visited Cagsawa Ruins and experienced a magnificent view of Mount Mayon.

Minutes away from Cagsawa ruins are few beaches and waterfalls.

To celebrate the holy week, we strolled through Malilipot Religious shrine.

Sunflower for 20pesos!!! Yay!

APRIL 17, THURSDAY

Time to go island hopping! Yay! Two hour boat ride to Caramoan from Legazpi port.
First stop: Matukad Island. This is where the mystical bangus is. It's our first time to experience legit rock climbing!

Longer day in Caramoan, better day to explore the majestic lands of Caramoan!
Bulangbugang cave. It was our first time to enter a cave that huge. This cave is a really neat one, free of vandals.
